Introduction
These Circular Letters were started in the late 1940's by Fred Pearce, a coal miner from south Wales, U.K. For many years Fred had been in regular correspondence with several keen Bible students from various parts of the world and in order to more easily share the thoughts and findings of these friends with each other he purchased a Gestetner Stencil Duplicator which he installed in his garden shed, and this publication he called "The Nazarene Fellowship Circular Letter," a name which we have retained to this day.
Fred produced these letters as and when required, which was usually about fifteen or more each year and each January he started afresh with No.1. It was in the 1970's that the numbering system was changed to its present arrangement and sent out on a more regular basis, sometimes monthly but in recent years this became bi-monthly, and more recently, quarterly.
Fred Pearce had been a Christadelphian and like so many, had seen several serious errors in their teachings which he was anxious to alert others to through reasoning of the scriptures, always showing a better understanding. Over the years these Circular Letters and other publications have been freely distributed world wide to hundreds of Christadelphians and have been gratefully accepted by many but not by all.
We pray that all our readers, from whatever background, may find these Circular Letters interesting and instructive, and lead them to search the scriptures more thoroughly for themselves; and may the love of Christ constrain us to honour the Son even as we honour the Father and worship them both in the beauty of holiness.
